A LITTLE ABOUT ME
REAL,
compassionate,
DEEPLY
grounded.
I help women who grew up with emotionally unavailable mothers understand how their past shaped their lives, relationships, and sense of self, and guide them toward self-trust, inner safety, and a life rooted in authenticity.
TRAUMA-INFORMED COACHING
A different kind
of healing.
My approach is rooted in lived experience, not just training. I know what it feels like to grow up in a home where your emotions weren’t safe, where love felt conditional, and where it always felt like you were walking on eggshells.
I work with women who learned to survive not only by making themselves smaller, but by shape-shifting into who they needed to be to feel loved, accepted, or emotionally safe.
My work helps you understand how these patterns were formed, how they still impact the way you relate to yourself and others, and how to begin reconnecting with the parts of yourself that were lost underneath survival. My job is not to give you more information, it is to help you feel and process what you’ve been carrying, and to rebuild the relationship you have with yourself.

MY STORY
I've been in
your shoes.
I spent 3/4 of my life as a Jehovah’s Witness alongside my mother, while my father and sisters remained Catholic. Looking back, I can now see how deeply my longing for her love, approval, and connection shaped my identity. I joined the religion because she did. Because staying connected to her felt necessary since my father was both physically gone(working long hours, and emotionally unavailable). I learned early that being agreeable, easy, and the ‘good girl’ was how I maintained connection and emotional safety within my family.
By the time I was 20, I had already experienced sexual abuse by two different men. And the week of my 32nd birthday, I was shunned by the only community I had ever known, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, after divorcing my first husband.
But the deepest loss, and ultimately the greatest turning point, came when my mother stopped speaking to me for nearly thirteen years.
THE TURNING POINT
And then things
changed.
After the religion, after the divorce, there was a period of trying to return to familiar patterns. And then a moment where I stopped and asked a different question:
Who am I without all of this?
Without the conditioning.
Without the roles I had spent my life performing.
Without constantly trying to earn love, approval, or belonging.
That question became the foundation of everything.
Over the years that followed, I rebuilt my relationship with myself. I processed grief, anger, loss, and emotional pain that had been stored in my body for decades. My background has always been rooted in healing and wellness. I became a massage therapist in 1999, and over time my work evolved from physical wellness into emotional healing, trauma, and the mind-body connection.
In 2012, I began working as a wellness and life coach through a project I created called Fit Nation, where I lived with families around the world, helping them in all aspects of wellness. Over the years, I lived with 52 families across the globe. Those experiences deeply shaped the way I understand trauma, emotional patterns, relationships, and human behavior.
In 2015, I began working with plant medicine, which opened the door to some of the deepest healing of my own life. In 2020, I trained in Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté, followed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), not simply as professional tools, but because they deeply resonated with the healing journey I had already been walking myself.
In 2022, I began hosting small plant medicine retreats where women could safely explore the deeper layers of themselves in a trauma-informed space. To date, I’ve hosted 14 retreats in Costa Rica.
Today, I guide other women through the same journey I once walked myself, reconnecting with who they were underneath survival.
HOW I WORK
Not just understanding —
actually feeling different.
Many forms of therapy help you understand your story intellectually. My work goes deeper — into the body, the stored emotions, and the protective parts that shaped how you learned to survive. This is where lasting change happens.
INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS
Understanding your parts.
IFS helps you understand the different parts of yourself — the ones that protect, the ones that carry old pain, the ones that learned to adapt in order to stay safe. We work with these parts with curiosity and compassion, not to eliminate them, but to understand them.
COMPASSIONATE INQUIRY
Going beneath the story
Developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, Compassionate Inquiry helps us explore what lives underneath your patterns, reactions, and emotional pain. Together, we begin uncovering the unconscious beliefs, stored emotions, and survival responses that were formed through early experiences, not to blame the past, but to understand how your body and mind adapted in order to protect you.
THE CONTAINER
A space that feels safe.
Healing happens in environments where the nervous system finally feels safe enough to soften. The space I create is rooted in emotional safety, compassion, and non-judgment. A space where women can stop performing, stop shape-shifting, and begin reconnecting with who they are underneath survival. Safety is the foundation that allows the work to happen.
Is this for you?

You value depth, honesty, and a practitioner who meets you as an equal.
You're willing to be vulnerable and do the real work.

You're not willing to be in a vulnerable place or receive support.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS
During our first session, I knew in a split second that this was it. I felt safe, seen, heard, and respected in a way I had never experienced before. She was the space holder I'd been looking for
my entire life.
